About Us

A & K Boat Rentals is owned by Aimee Barrett and Kurt Champagne.  We came up with the idea to start our business in 2022.  As business owners in the community of Milford, we often came in contact with people who had tried to rent boats from other local providers without success as they were already booked. So we saw there was a need for more rentals on the lake!  As avid boaters and lake goers ourselves, we know the ins and outs of the equipment and the lake itself so it seemed a great fit for us and we bought our first pontoon in the fall of 2022.  We were generating so much buzz when we began telling people about our new venture that we purchased a second pontoon in Spring of 2023.  The 2023 season was a bigger success than we anticipated!  We were fortunate to rent our equipment to many, many wonderful customers!  We pride ourselves in offering boats that are safe, in perfect running order, and immaculately clean. This past fall we purchased a third pontoon and we're looking forward to another wonderful season in 2024.
